Fake Accounts/Bots

Sometimes it does feel like that, but in order to code bots chess.com would have to spend a lot of time on the bots' time management systems so it doesn't look weird, and even so, it wouldn't be beneficial to chess.com in any way. In blitz there are over 500,000 active players:

Games played in Live under random seeks are handled by other people. The site doesn't utilize bots in the random pools.

I agree with you Martin. When I'm playing there's very little variation in openings. I'm pretty sure we're being played by bots instead of real people.
mostly fake AI accounts and 900 rated one is enough to beat 2000 rated player easily! only 3-4 super aggressive openings

when I agree to a rematch it's often gone from a muppet to grandmaster and chat is often distraction tactics

i honestly can't believe all the dummies who think that they are playing bots, like it'd be so hard to make bots that play like humans, tons of people have tried to do it.
I have no profile pic, I have the chat disabled and won't rematch most of the time
Does that make me a bot?

Personally I think leagues was a way for chess.com to increase players at anyone time. I don’t think they would of put there efforts into bots if they did that as well.

Okay, so what if I'm a kid whose parents don't let them use chat, and doesn't ever talk to people, and doesn't accept rematches bc they want to play against someone else, and that makes me a bot?
I don't know if or if not there are fake players on this website, but if not there must be a thousands and thousands of near min level players from literally Kazakhstan who all play the same stupid wayward queen moves in blitz like 6-8 moves in, and then instantly start playing 800-1000 level when you win a few pawns. They certainly "feel" fake.
I have not once matched a "feels fake" player in 15|10 time control. Maybe 40-50% of 3 or 5 min blitz tho. I have not once matched a "feels fake" player with a profile picture.
I don't think there are that many chess players in Kazakhstan.... (ratios compared to many countries I almost never see represented)
Who knows tho. Maybe they teach them that opening in grade school over there or something and they have to pass a final exam on here.
