File 'em Boys!

Whenever I want to pull up a game of mine from here on chess.com for whatever reason, I often find myself taking upwards of 20 minutes to sift through the hundreds of games and find which I'm looking for.

The "final position" thumbnail pop-up is nice, but I'd like to propose a filing system to the site. I think a project like this would be very beneficial to paying members, especially the more "serious" players.

I'd love the ability to create folders to sort my games that I want easier access to, as well as the ability to name those folders and even nick-name certain games.

I confidently suspect that I'll be backed on this idea strongly by the community, but nonetheless please share other ideas, comments, or concerns and any random support to the project suggestion. Thanks!

How would this improve upon bookmarks?

Do you mean bookmarks/favorites in your web browser? Or some sort of bookmarking system on the site that I don't know about?

If you mean bookmarks/favorites in the browser that's all fine and dandy, but, eh, it'd really be a fantastic feature for the site, in my opinion. If Yahoo! mail can do it, I'm positive we can. =D

And if there is a bookmarking/folder/filing system on the site... then I just feel stupid.

Yes I meant "bookmarks/favorites in the browser".

Dozy

It'd be handy.

Personally, if I have a game (win or loss) that has enough entertainment value to be the basis of a blog post, I file it off line with just one or two words added to the game data to indicate why it's there.  It's not too much trouble since most games don't qualify, but it helps when I'm looking for something special.

good idea :)
