I had to play 5 games before I could join a tournament. Also as i am a non-member i can only play in one tournament at a time. If you want a game please feel free to challenge me
Finding tournaments I could join?

Still, would be nice if I could filter the MT list so only the tournaments I could join were shown - considering rating ranges, games count and any other restrictions.
I second that. I have 22% timeouts, most tournaments require less than 10%. It's pretty frustrating to click through all the tournament until I find one that I can join.

The issue of knowing the Minimum Games Completed and Timeout % restrictions has been raised many times but it remains up to the tournament director to state them in the description.
Most do not think of it.

It is not the tournament page (e.g. http://www.chess.com/tournament/5th-chesscom-quick-knockouts-1801-2000), that is causing the problem. It is the list of upcomming tournaments (http://www.chess.com/tournaments/upcoming_tournaments.html). That list should either display more detailed entry requirements or (provide a filter that allows me to) hide tournaments that I am not allowed to enter.

It would not really help. While it would save me from clicking Join and getting the error message, the main pain - the need of clicking through many tournaments trying one by one - remains.
PS Requesting people to write the information they already wrote in another field is ... ugly idea.
Well, I am new here.
Tried joining ~ 10 tournaments, each time getting either "you must have 5 games completed" or "you must have 10 games completed". Irritating.
My current bet is that there are no tournaments without such a restriction and I must finish my 5 random challenges to join a tournament.
