I was 6 and at thanksgiving my uncle taught me. Didn’t actually start playing until January 2025, why? Because Gotham chess came up on YouTube

When I was little I had a board game called no-stress-chess where you draw a card, which shows how one of the pieces moved, and you had to move that piece. Also, the first 2 moves were automatic:
d4 d5 e3 e6.

I eventually right thought it would be funner to play without the cards, choosing the piece each move.
I developed some basic intuition.

Recently, GothamChess came up on my YouTube recommended and I watched some, and eventually got a chess.com account. I used chess.com lessons and game review to get better, so yeah
