Free Diamond Membership!! (ok 2 weeks but still) :)

I am thankful for chess.com for helping me to improve my skills. When I first started on chess.com (many years ago when it first started) I was around 900. Today I am over 1600. I love the people that I have met and have made lifelong friends.

I agree with that!  I was at 900 about 5 months ago, and my rating already has started going up!  Does that mean in a year or so I could be 1500 to 2000?

I enjoy chess.com because it has a lot of opportunities to improve your game, not only through the site itself, but also through suggestions for books to read. I also enjoy the large volume of correspondence games I can find easily via team matches and tournaments, which have been the perfect place to practice what I learn in terms of strategy, as I have lots of time to think about my moves before I make them (sometimes I spend over an hour calculating variations and double-checking everything with what I've learned recently in order to make sure I'm applying my new knowledge.) This has really helped me improve, as my correspondence rating has increased from 1450 to 1900 since October, and my live chess ratings have also increased a couple hundred points. I don't think I would've found that improvement without chess.com, as I learned about most of my studying tools through chess.com.

I really would like to achieve a title someday, and it seems that, with the help of chess.com, I might be able to reach that goal in a few years. :) Thank you so much for having this resource for the chess community, it really is fantastic!

I got to go from playing chess once every few weeks to playing chess almost daily. I already start to notice slight improvements due to regular playing. Especially the chess.com app is very important to me because I spent a lot of my time in public transport.

I have been a member of chess.com for years, hands down the best social chess site on the internet. I have improved my game with the great tools included in the site and more importantly the people. This is the perfect place to meet friends all over the world who share your common interest, chess! For me, growing up pre-internet, it was hard finding a person to play with regularly. Now i still find myself awed at the ability to sit at the computer 30 min and play live with friends from almost every country on the world. I have even developed some friendships that go beyond chess. I will be a chess.com member as long as the site exists :)

Its a shame my wife doesnt feel the same, lol

My friends and i came here from another chess playing web site,chess.com offers many things they do not, virtualy everything chess.com has pretty much, it's also alot harder to cheat here, chess.com is also a great place for a kid to grow up, suervised of course,it will teach him or her many things that can used in life.

if i get the two free weeks , can i have the first week in June and the last week in August ? sorry silly joke , i don't want free weeks , i'm happy to pay for a quality service and to support this great site .

Six years ago when I was a beginning chess player, a friend introduced me to chess.com. Now I am a USCF Expert. I've visited several chess websites, but chess.com is by far the best! It has so many features. In addition to having games of all time controls, analysis boards, tactics training, and even live tournaments, there are many quality articles from titled players and a news section that keeps me up to date on the happenings in the chess world. Chess.com has so many members that I never have trouble finding an opponent, and it has so many useful tools available to help me improve my game that there's never a boring moment.

Thank you so much for everyone's participation!  The promotion is over but I'd like to let you all know how much I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.  Any time I need a boost, I'll come re-read your posts :)
