I already played a few tournements and only got the first achievement, that you get after joining one tournement. Is there a rule to this achievement? Like you have to finish in a position or join the torunement when there are still X rounds/time remaining?
I think it should work even if you join an ongoing tournament. Scoring position isnt't important. I have got 10 tournaments achievement and has won second place in only 2

I am not sure if it is bugged, you should play some more tournaments. And don't withdraw until tournament is over. You will be able to get achievement.

You've played in one Swiss tournament. The other tournaments were arenas.
It's possible the Contender and Competitor achievements only count Swiss and daily tournaments and don't count arena tournaments. Arena tournaments should be counted. Maybe this is just an oversight with these two achievements.
