He just has some things going on elsewhere in his life right now, but will be back in the future when he has more time.
GM Daniel Gormally

Ok, thanx for answering kohai.
Hopefully he can solve them and we can have him back on here :D
Regards

He's gone and come back a few times, so I have no doubt he'll be back again in a couple of months :)
I also liked to read his articles. He was very honest and used to see things from a different point of view than most players. I hope that everything is going well for him.

He's known as thegormacle nowadays.

He's had a few accounts here over the years. He spoke out a few months ago about how he felt blitz chess was spoiling his game, but he did win the English Rapidplay Championship a few weeks ago, an event missed by most who were watching the chess.com IOM Masters.
He might not be everybody's cup of tea, but i do also like his forthright views.
I understand he has recently been collaborating with @ginger_gm on some projects, he still pops up periodically with some youtube videos, and is active on twitter talking about things both chess and non-chess related.
Although i haven't seen it yet, it wouldn't surprise me if he has another account here, he just can't kick his blitz addiction...
A few months ago he tripped the cheat detection system on another site while playing under an unregistered account. That site reinstated his account once they realised who he was, when he published a video on youtube about it.
Hello,
I see his account is closed.

Its a real pity, anyone knows what happenned?
He was a honest guy, who liked to talk his problems out, i liked him, he was a nice guy
Also it was a pleasure to see him playing quite often on chess.com and learn from him.
