Babs -- I believe you should stay away from this site. It is too addicting. You made a promise to yourself and to your family. They need you. They need you more than chess.com needs you. Chess Nuts will be fine without you. It will evolve. You put so much into it. Don't worry about chess.com. Don't think about us. Move on. You are gorgeous and I would hate to see you sucked back in here. It's hard to go cold turkey, but you can do it. I have faith. I believe I will be doing the same very soon, and following in your footsteps. Give it time and if you have made another secret identity here on chess.com. I would suggest you delete and not ever come back here. For yourself and for your family!!!
You were an inspiration here. You are a sweetheart and so full of life. But your family needs you. You will be missed here, but that is ok. People talk as if you are deceased. No, you are alive for your family, for your business and for yourself. Enjoy life. Let chess.com be a happy memory. I will think of you often.

i actually am not kidding. that stat is 100% verifiable. i promise.
i read up to about 11 or 12--sort of and then posted. my post appeared on page 19. i made the 90% up. sarcasm is not a learned skill. either you're born being able to read it, or you/re not--
and all the babs gushing is still as stupid now as it was 18 pages ago.

That's quite an annoying post. If I disagree and start arguing with you, then I'm proving your point. But if I agree with you, then I'm a mean jerk. I wonder if there's a way out of this paradox.
Am I really at the end? Only 381 posts? This thread has only been up for 3 days!!! That's over 125 posts a day!!! It took me so long to read this thread that I have to leave Chess.com now so that I can spend more time with my family. 
I guess I'm all alone in the bunker now, eh? Kokino left first, now Babs. All of these spouses are screaming that their loved ones are spending too much time on Chess.com!! They're all blaming me and my Speed Vote League. Now I'm left to run it by myself. 
Seriously tho, Babs was a major figure here at Chess.com just like Rael, Baseballfan, Awardchess, and several others (at least Grig hasn't left yet). And just like all the rest of us Chess.com addicts, no one can stay away for very long. The community itself beckons to us, and Babs is a significant part of that community. (The song Hotel California is going thru my head, "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." ).
She was my biggest help in the Fortnight Speed Vote League, and her group, The Chess Nuts, was one of my favorites (although it started getting too hard to keep up with the many, many pages of notes each day ). I'm sure Hamza and Nabs will do an excellent job in her absence, and I look forward to her eventual return (albeit in a much more limited capacity I'm sure).
Enjoy your vacation Babs. See you whenever you get back.
P.S. Don't Feed the Trolls!!! (They're tracking this drivel after all ).

You also say you read upto 11-12 pages and then your post appeared on page 19 and nowhere? You sure that this too has not been made up again? Note that this is verifiable in just within a min. .

Has Baseball fan gone? Did he not start off as a regular member and then become staff. He was a super helpful fella.
