“Where else is it possible that a Dutch chess player get his game analysed by a chess player from Finland? At Chess.com it is!” Gert-Jan - Student, Netherlands
Where is this ad going to be?
The above "blurb" won't make any sense to the average American, since from their point of view, Finland and the Netherlands are the same thing.
Does the average american really think that finland and the Netherlands are the same thing??? I am glad America isn't fighting a war against Finland. We would be very suprized to see al the american soldiers coming in. Expect the unexpected.
does the average american know the difference between The Netherlands and spain?
between the Netherlands and Morocco?
Erik can change the countries in my post as he wishes.
Not the same thing, just I figure if I were ask a hundered random people what/where each country was, I'd predict that 50 would say "some country in Northern Europe," 30 would say "Who cares?" 5 would give an intelligent answer, and 15 would throw an insult at me for wasting their time. So basically, 95% would give the same answer. Not that I've ever tried this, just an estimate. That doesn't mean all those people think they're the same thing though, just if you put it in an ad, nobody would make sense of it. C'mon, we aren't that dumb.
I get your point. Maybe it is better when Erik choses the netherlands and some other country that american's also have heard of.
Just kidding. Erik can adjust it as he wishes.

I would like to know where that advert goes to first ;)
And 15 to 30 words isn't enough to say good stuff about chess.com. Except that it has the greatest trolls.
you should just put on the end "Ever"
It rules! I like many parts of it, generally speaking, the community, also many options to do like play live, online or against the computer. I also like the social aspects of this site a little too, while it is centered on chess. IT RULES!
and also I can add other elemants to text like if I wanted to show a game:
