Help to open shared game in app

I usually share some of my games as link in whatsapp etc , but later if I open it from whatsapp it goes to the chess.com site.. Is there any way ican open that game on my "chess.com app",
It's better looking than chess.com site because then the I can see the match with customized pieces.
I have this problem too. Please help
This is the only thread about this that I found. So is there a way to have chess.com links open the mobile app?

Yes please, I need to open my tournament games in the app. Playing in the browser is sh*tty af.

Just clicking the link in WhatsApp opens the app
It works on android for me, ios doesn't open it though

I have an Android and I have this problem too
Same problem here, with Android. Chess.com is set as the default app to open www.chess.com and chess.com links but it doesn't work.

Same problem here. I navigated to "choose default apps" in android settings, selected the chess.com app, selected "defaults", turned the toggle on for "open supported links", selected "supported web addresses", and then turned on the toggle for "chess.com".
This did not work. Every time I open a shared game, it still opens in my browser. It's been 5 years and this problem still has not been addressed...
I have this problem too. Android, with Firefox as default browser. Clicking on the link goes to the Google play store website, and there the “Open in App” action naturally opens in the Play Store app, not the Chess.com app.
I assume the problem would not be if chess.com would not forward to the PlayStore, but stay on chess.com and offer a link to go there.

I have had this issue on android for ages. Any chess.com link I get in whatsapp doesn't open in the app, it opens in the browser. I've turned on the "supported web addresses" in the chess.com app settings but it makes no difference. Has anyone found a solution for this?
Wow. This problem is a long standing one and chess.com have not addressed it. I also am having the same problem and its kind of annoying.
Someone from chess.com should address this.
