Remember the first time I posted a thread about a phishing attempt?  Well, I just got a similar message from someone just now (I apoligize in advance if it wasn't phishing)

I generally don't accept friend requests unless I know them.  Have you recieved similar messages, even from the same person?  And do you think this might be the same one that sent me the revious one?

I haven't gotten a friend request on chess.com like that, but I have gotten regular phishing scams. I have won the British lottery a few times, been contacted by an African princess needing my bank info to escape here abusive father, and somebody discovered large deposits of gold in South Africa and needs help.

Yes, before acting rashly, I think the important question to answer is what, exactly, is Daphne phishing for?

In my opinion she's going about it wrong.  You catch many more fish with a wide net than a single hook:

That's the point, how on earth could I win their lottery if I never entered and never lived there. I get a message claiming I should fork over my account number so the money can be transferred into my account.

This person's account has been closed, similar to the previous one!
