how can i report a message?

hi guys!!!

i recieved an offensive message that were sooo rude, just because i didnt remach and i am searching for a report button but i dont seem to find anything....

so, is there that option? if yes, where is it?if not,can i just report the user?

The best way for a regular user would be to block the person. To do this. Go to account and click privacy. Privacy should be somewhere at the bottom right box. After you click it, it should something called messages. Change the option from all members to only my friends. If you really want to report that person... Just email chess.com Btw you're not the only one who gets rude notes and messages. I'm 100% sure everyone got one. One other way to avoid it is to play the person over and over again until they give up. :D Have a nice summer break!

By all means block the rude person AND report them to the staff, if they get enough complaints I presume they'll at least warn the rude person to mellow out.

from what i heard from my friends, were that the person who gets reported by 1 person gets a warning. After that if another person reports, that person will be suspended and then deleted.

It's quite dependent on what was said.

One report may be enough and two reports of something mild not.

Probably blocking the person is the best option but you can do that on an individual basis.
