For those who are curious. Kasparov's net worth is estimated to be over $150,000,000 US dollars.
That would make him worth even more than celebrities like Cristiano Ronaldo (around 130 mil), Lebron James (90 mil), Lil Wayne (135 mil), Taylor Swift (105 mil), etc. Which of course cannot possibly be true.

fwiw, I was only responding to McHeaths question of who "claimed" that Kasparov is worth 150mil. Assuming that I believe the claims of the article would be mistaken. :=)

Yes, he is a very well known basketball player. Used to play for Indianopolis if I remember correctly and then transferred to Miami Heat. Played there with two other seemingly very good basketball players, but I don't know who they are.

Remember he lived in Russia until recently, which is still communist.
The govt takes away most of people's money. It's only after he moved to the US he's making a little bit of money.
He should've moved to a tax free country like Monte Carlo a long long time ago.
