Chess.com's policy says that you must be at least 18 to have an account on the site, without a parent's permission, and at least 13 to participate on the site at all.

Really? Why would they have an age expectation? I know of a few people who are not 13 yet. LOL I think chess.com should be open to ALL members of ALL ages since it is a community.

I joined a site when i was 6 and i learned some swear words! i taught my whole class.. then i was expelled at then end of the day?? i didnt know what that was and my mommy hit me so hard that i ran to daddy to protect me then daddy hit me so i ran away.. here i am 10 years later, 30 surguries, and 30 different schools!

Thats why you join sites like this when your 6!
