Just make sure your king is protected at all times.
How to avoid draw by repitition ?

Another way to look at this problem:
When the position's evaluation turns into what is clearly winning (it happens with one clear mistake by the opponent) take a deep breath, step away from the game for one moment and tell yourself this :
"It is no longer a concern whether how or when I will now win. It is now a concern of how my opponent can sneak back in. In other words, put yourself in your opponent's chair and be as imaginative as possible as to what he can try...especially since he's got nothing to lose."
You'll start to see crazy piece sacrificies that expose your king to checks, you'll see stalemate traps in the endgame, you'll see some of his pieces that are way more active than yours.
Once you get an idea of what his "desperation" plays are, you can prioritize your defense (for e.g., protect your king as the previous post suggests) accordingly.
Wasn't it Napolean who said something like "It is not enough that I win...my enemies must lose". :)
I am a 13 year old boy and i have real problems with this draw by repitition rule ..i have quite often experience that i have been easily ahead or equal in some games but just then my opponent forcers me to draw by repitition by moves which check my king and i dont have any other option other than this draw ... is there a way by which i can prevent being forced into a draw like this . I mean how can i foresee such a draw .... any help , comments , suggestions , are purely welcomed
