how to enable premove on iOS

Hey all

I’m playing my friend on my iPhone, and want to do premoves. However, it doesn’t seem possible and I can’t find an option to enable the ability to premove in settings. Am I missing something?

I'm an Android user so I'm not familiar with the iOS app. On Android, you enable it by Settings > Live Chess > Premove. Is that an option on iOS?

I do see that option. It’s enabled already. I’m just playing my friend in regular play mode however. Perhaps that’s the issue

It could be, but I don't see why. As long as you are playing a live game and not daily, the option should remain no matter who your opponent is.

When you say ‘regular play’ what do you actually mean? happy.png It looks like you’ve been playing exclusively Daily Games. Daily games don’t have premoves. Perhaps you mean conditional moves?

If so, I don’t think you can do those in the app, but you can login via the iPhones Safari browser which gives you most of the full functionality including the ability to do conditional moves.

I play on iPad from time to time and I have not figured this out either. I don't see it in the options anywhere. Let me know if you figure it out.

See post #2 by @sushima01. It's the same for the iOS app (iPhone/iPad).

I can premove on my iPad, but only once.

Correct. iOS currently just supports a single premove.
