How to play the From Gambit?

The From Gambit is a way to punish your opponent when they push their f-pawn.

If your opponent plays f4 ON THE FIRST MOVE, I would recommend playing e5. I know it is weird, but trust me. When your opponent takes the pawn, play d3. After takes, take WITH THE BISHOP! Then, if they play ANY MOVE NOT Nf3, then play Qh4+. After g3, you can take with either the bishop or the queen. If you want style, TAKE WITH THE QUEEN! After hxg3, play bishop takes g3, which is mate.

Now you know how to play it, and who knows, you might use it on your opponent sometimes. Stay tuned for how to play against Nf3!

Thanks to FunMasterMike/Mike Klein for teaching me this gambit, even on YouTube.

The From Gambit against the Birds Defence will only produce results against 1300-1500 against anyone half decent it will only bring heartache because decent player will gladly take the extra pawn and grind you down, we had in our county over the board a player who always played the Birds and he would chew you up if you played the Froms Gambit mind you his over the board rating was over 1900!
