depends on type of game some?
live games, you should enter a web page where, if you do nothing at all, you will be forced to watch speed chess games between 1900+ players. Once you can see these other games, the orange button to start your own game should start working (it takes a while to initialize, so before you can see those other games, its still processing something??? and will not work). At that point it will start a new game and you should see your board and move in real time, though about 1 game in 3 will abort after no moves or 1 move for no apparent reason. If it aborts the game, just try again.
For slow (multi-days per move "mail" type game) you should have a board on your home page for each active game, click on that to see a similar interface to the live games, make your move, save it, and wait for your opponent.
not a chess question but a web site question. I can't get the moves of a game started. a friend started a game abnd made a pawn move then closed out the screen. I got an e-mail "new game started", I found the board but no move was on it. I couldn't made a move. I aborted the game and "started a new game". But I can't move a piece on the board. My head hurts. I can't figure out how to use this site.
