How to view your own profile

Hi, Sometimes when I click on a players name I get taken to their page, and there is a bunch of mean stuff written about them. I try to go to my profile, but all I manage to get to is the edit profile page. How do I know if people are talking bad about me? I'd like to be able to see my profile page as other people do. How do I do this?

That is an interesting question which I wondered about myself.    I have been very surprised at the very negative remarks that sometimes appear  in the activity tab of people's profiles.

All that is a bit strange. I don't know if you get to see the notes people write about you. It seems to me that many people whould have complained and asked to have these notes removed if they knew what was there.

In any case I looked at your profile and nobody seems to have written any notes about you. In your activity tab there are just references to the forums you posted in.

I found out a bit more about this because someone I played a game against posted a note in my activity tab. I could see the note and also got the option of 3 buttons "reply, delete or block". So I clicked on delete and the note was indeed deleted, at least I can't see it any more.

So in conclusion if someone posts an abusive note in your activity tab, you can see it and can just delete it by clicking on delete. That seems to me to be quite an acceptable way for the site to work.

I have had a similar problem of finding my own profile.

It is a bit curious that it seems to be a little difficult to check one's own profile...

It may be a hardware problem.

I can never see any notes on my Profile Page when I'm using my large expensive Samsung tablet.

But I do see them when using my small basic Amazon fire tablet so that's not a problem for me.

I guess it must be hellishly complicated to get this site working smoothly over so many devices.

@Heather_Stephans, I haven't seen any issues with view the profile on the website across any devices. I use.

If Show Notes is turned on in Settings > Home (under the Modern Home Style) then you should see them under your home page. They should always show under your profile page.

Of course, the process was different when the OP posted on the old site version.

I can get to Modern Home Style on my little tablet - which doesn't have a problem anyway.

However when I go to the same page on my Galaxy tablet, I see the 'HOME' title at the top of the screen, but where the Modern Home Style menu should is just a blank screen, so I can't change anything but in any case wouldn't the choices made using my little tablet apply to all my devices anyway?

I don't have an ad blocker but I'll run an anti-virus program. My other devices work fine so this is a trivial problem.

I apologise to the original poster for hijacking his thread and won't post again on it.

Maybe a clearing the browser app cache on your device would help. I just checked on my phone and  I have the menu.
