Nice I’ve only beaten a NM CM and FM, but the FM wasn’t trying hard. Also I’ve noticed an I crease in brilliant moves I’ve had 2 this week and my opponents had 1

2 reasons
1. I didn’t want to trade bishops as mine was more powerful in pushing my pawn
2. it put my rook in a bad spot and I was expecting him to move his knight to where he did if I put it on D1
yea I think that’s why I’m trying to remember but I calculated quite a bit for that move.
I was looking at both though.

CM = Candidate Master yep. It's achieved by either getting 2200 Fide or by winning a special tournament (such as NAYCC) and being 2000+
