I can't stop losing in chess and i'm honestly starting to feel depressed about it...

First of all, no. I don't have depression, i only FEEL depressed. With that said, i litterally lost 5 or 6 games in a single day and got one draw by agreement. There's a guy in my class that is also a chess fan. We played 5 games: one draw by insufficient material, one draw by agreement (and i could've won this one), and i lost the other 3. I work so hard to get better at the game, but it seems like no matter what i do i keep making blunders and losing. I never won a game that wasn't against the beginner bots and i'm honestly starting to feel depressed about it. I don't know what to do. I love chess so much, but right now i look at my board and feel bad. I think there are some external factors that are helping me feel this way. Perhaps a break from the game will do me any good?

Your problem is fairly easy to solve. You need to learn enough to know at least as much as your opponents. You can do that through trial and error or you can study a bit.

They offer very good lessons for new players here.

The lessons will help you to start understanding your opponent's moves and try to figure out what you should do.

Learning to checkmate is essential.

In no time at all, you will be winning.

Just keep going. Don't worry about losing. Learn from your mistakes. We all make them. I'm just a lowly 600 trying to get back into it after about a 30 year absence from playing. I feel the same way sometimes. BUT, I keep studying and playing. I'm starting to see the board better and can tell I'm improving. Also, all I play is Daily. It gives me time to study every move. Some games take days, but it is less stressful and more productive, IMO. And nothing wrong with taking a break and catching your breathe. Good luck!
