Not sure but you are writing from USA so how would i be sure that i was the only one who faced the problem.
It seems like it could not have been a widespread problem because nobody else has made a similar post. (I searched.)
All I found was the distressing news that much of Bangladesh is under water again with more than a thousand deaths. The hundreds of thousands of Rohingya fleeing Myanmar to Bangladesh is also topping the news.
I believe that access to chess.com is not the main concern.

I searched for both-- posts mentioning India and posts mentioning Bangladesh.
At any rate, nobody who is a member would have any idea if all the players from India and Bangladesh were having unusual problems connecting.
I suppose that Chess.com management would probably have reports available to them of unusual changes in activity. However, they don't make that stuff available to us.
