I got the "suspicion of cheating" message in Live chess...

After finishing one of my live games, I got a mesage from the server, saying that chess.com's "cheating detection programs" have flagged my recent activity as "potentially suspicious," though it re-assured me that it was "not accusing me"

I just find this very odd, because I haven't even been playing that well lately!

I just don't want to get banned somehow...I understand I wasn't "being accused," but it's just so strange that I would even fall under suspicious from the detectors given my recent play...

Has anyone else had experience with / gotten that message?

I never knew chess.com was so secure.

i'd guess you were busy with something and so was unfocusing the game window too much, which could be interpreted as consulting an engine.

Ah, that might be it, Love. I was going back and forth between windows (but it seems that would be typical for a 90/60 game that takes 3-4 hours)

LoveYouSoMuch

yeah, that makes sense.

i just guessed that because there's a fair number of chess servers that implement this as one of the ways to flag people for analysis, easy way to pick off the cheaters who go full retard. :P wouldn't surprise me if they have that here too.
