Congrats on your amazing milestone! happy.png Enjoy it!

I had a similar drop nearing 2000 chess.com rapid and then crashed about 100 points and it took me about a month to recover and finally cross 2000 for my first time:

These blog posts were in 2021 and then I crashed again (after holding over 2000 about another month) and that recovery took about a full year. Rating constantly fluctuates up and down, so make sure to enjoy the milestones as they come. Congrats on your 2000 rating! happy.png

Sounds fun. Just don't think that you are obligated to aim for 2100, 2200, 2300 etc.

These goals can be healthy, but only with the correct intent for its purpose. This blog post of mine might help you prevent a mistake which many unexpectedly fall into and this isn't even a "chess thing" per se:

You are already strong enough to play OTB tournaments. I first started playing at a local chess club when I crossed 1500 chess.com rapid and I've been in rated tournaments since I was about 1600 chess.com rapid. Your 2000 is easily good enough to do well; there is also a bit of an experience learning curve for OTB though where it takes some time to play at a similar level to online. In-person has a few differences like the atmosphere, the 3D versus 2D perspective, the physical things like pressing the chess clock or writing down the chess notation and so on, but after a while (maybe a month?) you'll begin to play similarly in-person as online.

How do u vizualize the next position 3d i visualize board 2d always

KeSetoKaiba

I mean the screen is 2D, whereas in-person you physically have the 3D pieces to move. Chess is the same game, but the field of vision is different (2D you are looking straight down at the board, but 3D you are angled roughly 45 degrees to the board). This means that you might not recognize patterns (like tactics) as easily in one perspective compared to the other if you don't have experience in it (like only playing online and never playing in an in-person tournament). This takes a little bit to adjust to (I estimated a month) and then you play similar online to OTB.
