I peaked at 900 rapid last year and now cant get to 800.

I feel like giving up and am worried that I will never get to stay above 800, much less a goal of 1000, which I originally strived towards. I play mostly now on lichess because chess.com is just too difficult. I can't keep a positive attitude when i have actually lost ground in the past year.

Because chess.com does nothing about cheaters. Lichess actually does. Hats why this site is so much harder. I am over 1000 rated in my schools chess club but can't get over 500 here. It's all cheaters

well on monthly basis lakhs of accounts are taken down for fair play so cant say nothing is done
