Pretty straight forward.

Either I am quite incompetent or your search users is useless. Why even bother having it?

Since it is possible to type in location in your profile, I am, OFFERING free of charge to program your search members to add both country AND location to narrow searches. since it is already typed in under profile information, I think I am able to reference that with searches. I think I could do it in 2-3 days tops depending on how messy your source code is and what language you program in.

I really need that location search, to promote local groups that strenghten local chess life. I think I am not the only one who wish this. I know its only possible to even hope for this because of your amazing chess.com 

Sorry if I am missing something obvious. its embarrasing either on my part or on your since you have 19+ programmers hired and the rest of the site is top Notch! A+

This guy seems legit.

And he's addressing a real issue too, the member search is really close to unusuable.

Apparently the previous search worked a little too well.  Cyberstalking turned to real stalking  and so now you can't look anyone up.....

ok that is the reason. But howcome I can then search for lets say danes and just click manually through profiles and find people living near me?

Why not disable it entirely?

At least my mind set has changed from frustration to bizarre fuzzy logic.
