nobody is gonna think someone who isn't rated 2000 is using an engine. Don't worry!
I'm having a horrible day...

If you weren't using an engine, then you won't get banned for doing so. Chess.com has quite a bit of experience in sorting out computer moves from ordinary well-played moves.

Phsychological & chess victory for your opponent with only yourself to blame? Move-on & develop better mind-set for next challenge.

Next time disable chat. Some players become psyched out and irratable when their opening preparation is avoided or fails them... Chatting back is a waste of your time. Even if you do get reported they have to check your games anyway so you'll be fine.

@OP: Perhaps most importantly, Chess.com gives no credence to "reports" of engine use in Live Chess chat, when they are more often than not merely trash-talking. Such reports must be submitted via a Support Ticket.
I definitely agree that disabling chat is fortuitous. The next time a trash-talking opponent crosses your "line" (wherever you decide that is), simply disable the chat immediately, before he/she has a chance to get you flustered.
My day had been utterly horrible up to this point, but now it just got really bad. I was playing this sob who decides to pull a philidor's gambit on me, cause he's 1800 and i'm "bad". I have him in a really great position but due to time trouble(this is 10 minutes so I have not enough time), I end up making stupid moves. Throughout the course of the time he's egging me on saying i'm using a program. I'm so angry I let slip a lot of foul language which gets me muted, all the while he's defacing me only stopped by a chat moderator who I can't even tell that I'm muted and have a problem. Now I've got a lot of my plate, and on top of that I'm scared I'll be banned for "using an engine". Does anyone know how the reports system works? I would feel better if I could chat.
And just saying, he was losing because he was in a philidor's gambit and he won cause I had time trouble, no "progging".
