Incredibly strong players/games in correspondence chess

Question: how is it possible that his average opponent is rated "0"? I smell a rat... And I think at online chess are the most cheaters, thats why I like short games.

As you guys may have found out, corespondence chess is one of the most instructive types of games, ripe with creative ideas. Also, some of the highest ratings on chess.com are found in this category. I HIGHLY reccomend you guys to check out some of these amazing games, which make great study for players of all levels. For the lazy, here's a link to one of the >2800 player's list of games.
