You can upload the images to a website - any image/photo sharing website (e.g. Flikr, Zooomr, Picasa, PhotoBucket, Photoshop Express), and reference them from there.
Insert Image Not Working!

NOTE: I think somehow updating the "tiny_mce" has caused this problem.
I cannot even access the directory to find my images:
http://files.chesscomfiles.com/images_users/tiny_mce/MEMBER_NAME/
gives "403 Forbidden" error
Although you can't list the images directory, if you specify a particular image by name e.g. http://files.chesscomfiles.com/images_users/tiny_mce/artfizz/blackstar.jpg, it will be displayed and you can insert it using the INSERT/EDIT IMAGE tool button.

Thats a good workaround. Thanks.
I have some cool smileys, which i use often. But, I dont have patience to upload these small smileys into flickr just to use them here. . I would rather wait for the staff to fix this issue.

Uploading images from your PC to another website & referencing them from there works - see post #25.
Referencing your previously uploaded images works - provided you know the image name - see post #26.
Uploading new images to chess.com DOESN'T WORK.
Listing the images you have already uploaded DOESN'T WORK - see post #26.

Thanks Artfizz...only saw page 2 of the topic when I submitted my message. Not all people have another site to upload images first before uploading here the link. Luckily, I can do that. :)

You're welcome!
Not everyone has their own domain name registered or their own website, but there are plenty of free websites (photo sharing ones, in particular) where anyone can upload images.
Also, if trying to use images they have previously uploaded, although they can't browse the image names on chess.com, provided they have kept the same filename as on their PC, they will be able to reference the image.
These two workarounds will help prevent chess.com becoming a text-only wasteland -
while we wait for the solution.
Just turns up as blank for me.
