Johan, 1 day/move limits this tournament to premium members for online chess as it is risky for basic accounts to lose on time.

Hi. I've now changed the speed to 2 days/move both for the team matches and the vote chess games. We want to keep the door open both for teams that prefer fast speed or regular speed playing. However, there're few tourneys with fast speed, while there're more ones for regular speed. So 2 days/move seem to be a reasonable compromise.

Johan if you put 2 days per move for individual games it's equal to 1 day per move in vote chess, the same goes with 3 or 4 days per move in individual games which equal to 2 days per move in vote chess. In most cases in individual games players do not wait until last minute to make a move instead in vote chess you can't move before time for move expire

Tourney setup and rules have changed!

The main changes are:
- Only team matches, no vote chess games
- Fewer divisions, but more teams per division
- Easier for smaller teams to participate in the lower divisions, due to decreased number of players per match (from 20 down to 15), and open for smaller teams (down from 150 to 100 members).

And, First signed = get a free spot first!

Sorry, it's not open for national nor regional teams. It's only open for international teams.

Zacob

what international teams are you talking about. US international or Asia international.

Cannot find these teams on chess.com?

However, US=USA=a nation, and Asia=(world) region.
So none of them would qualifies for Global League, since they both associate to nations and regions.

Zacob

then what is an international team. Scratch Scratch

johanpalmaer

It has applied the International flag on its's profile.
It's open for members from all over the World.
It's not associated to a specific nation or region.
By region with mean i.e. any limited geographic location, like a world region, a part of a world region, or a city in a country.

Zacob

oh like power of chess or chess unlimited right?

Yes, and like all the teams that have joined so far to this tourney.
There're actually only 5 spots left for Division 1+2.

All spots are now filled in Division 1+2.
In Division 3 are 6 teams signed, which means that there are only 4 spots free now!
