If you are serious about chess it is 100% worth it. The puzzles and lessons are great for improving players
Is the Chess.com Membership worth it.

It sounds like you're motivated to learn so, yes, it is absolutely worth it. There is a huge library of lessons, many of them specifically for beginners, covering basic chess principles, tactics, and openings. The lessons are clear and easy to understand and will definitely help you improve.
I recommend the Platinum level (currently $79.99) because in addition to lessons and puzzles you get unlimited game review so you can go back over your games and see how you could have played better. With Diamond ($119.99) you also get coach explanations and insights, but I have found these only moderately helpful.
Let us know what your parents say.

I agree with @Kbz10troy. I tried the diamond free trial. The two benefits are the coaches' explanations and the insights. The insights are useless. It's a bunch of stats like "W-D-L record against guys named Bob". It's just trivia. The coaches' explanations similarly are not helpful. It gives you nothing that you can really rely upon.
I would recommend Platinum. Game analyses, puzzles, and lessons are what you need from this site, and that gets you all of those unlimited.

In my opinion, it is not worth it because many of the features you pay for can be accessed for free elsewhere. For example, one of the greatest benefits of a chess.com membership is unlimited puzzles; however, you can go to lichess.org and get unlimited puzzles for free.
Another benefit of chess.com premium would be its game review feature. Personally, I have developed a method of analyzing my games by myself and with the engine that yields essentially the same findings as through chess.com's game review. However, if you are a newer player, you may like to see what the explanations from game review have to say.
In my own chess journey to 2000 rating (I know I am not 2000 on this account currently but I am 2000 on 2 other accounts), I utilized only free resources. Granted, my journey took ~2-3 years to get to this point, and it's possible that you and others could reach 2000 rating quicker using the tools chess.com's membership offers (assuming 2000 is your goal).
And, you have to consider that from my viewpoint, someone who's succeeded using only free resources, of course I would say a chess.com membership isn't necessary, because I'm already on the other side without it! That being said, a membership would be nice, and I don't doubt its potential to help you improve. My advice: try out the free trial and see if you like it. More importantly, reflect on how much it actually helps you get better versus other unpaid content, then decide. Hope this was helpful!

In my opinion, it depends whether if you are motivated to play chess. Since if you bought the membership and don’t use it, its going to be pretty useless ngl. But did you know that you don’t really need to buy the membership just for puzzles. You can just go to linchess and get puzzles for free.

Do not buy chess.com premium membership!!! Chess.com bans cheaters. Sometimes the cheat detector might ban innocent players. If chess.com bans your premium account, they will not give you a refund!!! Then you will be wasting money! So, do not buy chess.com premium membership!
Also, if you want to do puzzles, use lichess . org .
I've just been getting into chess over the last few weeks and have found Chess.com as a great tool (compared to playing with my family). I want to get one of the memberships, but my parents don't want to get it without asking a "real" chess player if its worth it. So is it worth it, and which one is best?
