Are you in a position to do some part-time work and earn the money to purchase the membership on your own? I'm not sure how old you are, but most adults will appreciate your sincerity if you ask for work and tell them you are saving money for a Chess.com membership.

When I was younger and wanted a car, gas, trendy clothes, and other cool stuff... I mowed grass, cleaned gutters, washed cars, worked as a house and pet sitter, and I was ahead financially than most of the kids my age.

Maybe try to negotiate with your parents. Tell them how important a Chess.com membership is for you; offer to go in half if they will help you; ask of they will help if you bring home some good grades or do an exceptional job on a school project; offer to help around the house or yard.

There's not much that is free in this world, but a lot of things are available if you put in the time and effort.

Getting any title even CM means free membership.

No. That only applies to mods or developers only.

If you get a title - NM or above - then you get free diamond membership for life. That might not help you much right now, but it's a nice goal to work towards.

What about CM title?

Why is the chess.com staff doesn't get the membership?

actual_knight_gaming

chess.com users realizing the paid premium feature is locked behind a paywall

Staff is a membership level for purposes of premium features.

As far as I know it has to be a gift to be free try Mr.Beast you can also try to find a not so kid friendly ad and they give you gold

The only way to get a free membership is by having someone gift you. But you can get something like a chess mentor coach for free. Go to learn, then practice. While it doesn't tell you why your moves were good or bad or show brilliant moves, it still shows if your moves were good or bad, like, for example, "This move is a blunder" or " This move is an inaccuracy."

Why would you have to give your credit card number for the 7-day trial if you are not paying for it?
