I can't beat Isabelle bot rated 1600. Drew a few times but that is all. Can someone share a game against her? but no engine games. I wanna see her weak sides. maybe that might give me ideas how to pass 16 hundred

No one? Just need a 1600+ player here

Interesting play. Quite regular ruy lopez, need to study middlegame, she misses tactics i guess. Need deeper inspection for strategic ideas.

Here is my recent win vs Isabelle bot.  Not sure how to share a game other than as a link.  I might have a 50% score against her.

oooh Berlin defence, she played it againt me once, but i forgot how to respond to berlin, seems like you know how to play this variation.

After inspecting these two games, I started to see 1600s is a newbie rank hehe

Ruy lopez is cool but I'll try English as white and Sicilian as black.

And here I am struggling just to get to 1000. I question if we are playing humans or chess bots. It seems to get more difficult as you approach the 100 mark. I have had 998, 999, but, when I try to go over 1000, it plays like a grandmaster.

Wdym? Are you saying people at 1000 elo are playing stronger than what you think their strength truly is?

Terrible accuracy on my part and she made a big blunder near the end, but at least I won.    I played the London.  I missed a mate in 4 around move 46, but I took the safe way out.   Stalemates get easy when you get too far ahead!

Leads to a sharp checkmate.

She plays everything! e4, d4, c4 and Nf3, seriously?

I tried out the Sicilian Katalimov and had a very difficult time but managed to find the great moves in the end game:
