It's been 3 months since the Chess.com/TV Group Grand Opening!

thanks Mark! this past week we got some good discussions started about the topics from the weekly Pardon our Blunders show. Looking forward to more next week.

Yes, it was REALLY nice to see the continuation of discussion in the Group's forums :) There's no way, during showtime, to fit in all that can be discussed, and the topics are so interesting, it's impossible not to have opinions! :) I think members (all, not just premium) also enjoy getting direct feedback from you and Danny, too. It's great stuff and I love being a part of it :)

I love how responsive the group admins and the show personalities are to the group forums. It's really awesome to be able to continue the discussions that come up during the shows but perhaps aren't seen during the broadcast.

Scott, I'm glad you said that :) This group was created for the purpose of great discussions, info, fun and feedback for and from all members who enjoy the shows and hosts on Chess.com/TV. The shows are full of great stuff which should get carried beyond the shows. Our hosts WANT to interract and have feedback (in between the zillion other things they're busy doing) with Chess.com members, and it's absolutely impossible for them to put out a great show AND be able to read and answer all the members' comments and questions that scroll by through the chat during the show.
I know Mark and I REALLY love and appreciate when other members post, 'cause all the work is being done for that purpose. It's terrible when we feel like we're talking to ourselves, so seeing this activity has been GREAT! I'm SO glad you're enjoying your time in here

Yes the cool thing about this is the topic from last week, about the end of Elite Chess Events is still being discussed and will probably be discussed even after next week's show. The Hosts are taking notes of suggestions, topics and a lot of other ideas to add to Chess.com/TV, so if you want to have direct access to them, this is the group to join. We're also going to be adding a couple of new group features soon once the bugs are worked out, so for those who are new to Chess.com, or new to Premium Memberships and want to be a part of a group that is directly linked to Chess.com and Chess.com/TV, this is the place for you. Come on in!!

Hey everyone!
On December 15th, 2010, the Official Chess.com/TV Group made it's Grand Opening with a bang with a two and half hour extraordinary show celebrating this event. We had special guests, Blitz games against Danny and David, awesome topic discussions and a whole lot more.
It's been three months now, and 154 members later, we're still going strong. Every week, the Hosts of the shows open the broadcasts and now average almost 75-80 viewers per show and the topics and participation grows every week. We are also currently holding a "Internal Tournament" and the top 3 players will receive prizes that relate to Chess.com/TV and their Hosts. With more events like this in the future, the Group is sure to grow by more leaps and bounds.
Chess.com/TV has been growing steadily with its coverage of Special events like the London Chess Classic, the 39th Olympiad, and the TATA Steel Tournament just to name a few with more coverage of future tournaments to come. So if you haven't already joined the fun, click on the link above and be a part of the action.
Thanks everyone!!
