king&castle&pawn v king&2 knights

Hi,

I recently played this end game against a friend on an actual chess board ( in other words it not on this site soz), it was an interesting one as I had the k&2knights, after many moves my opponent offered a draw and I accepted. Was I right ? If had trapped his pawn and took it then his castle would have took my knight I would then have took his castle, leaving me with king&knight and him just a king. A s far as I am aware I couldn't then get checkamte.

Any thoughts ?

Just seen the topic,  I can't see the subject. Basically I had a king and 2 knights and he had a king  a castle and a pawn ( which was on 5th row), all the pieces were next to the pawn in the middle of the board.
