Level of Play

So, I'm just thinking ahead a little bit (this question isn't as pertinent for someone at my rating), but I was wondering what levels of chess players post seeks in live chess.

More specifically, when I look to see if there are any higher level players posting seeks, I can't see any. I see a few 1600's every once in a while. So, do people higher than that just not post as many seeks? Or, can I just not see them because I don't fall within the range that they seek?

I would like to know this so I know if I can plan to stay on chess.com for a long while or if there are other sites that have people who play higher level games.

You cant see their request because you are not in their rating request range.

So there are a significant number of seeks in the higher rating range?

Yes :)

If you are a 1600 rated player...the lowest you would probably look for is like a 1500. That's why you cant see it.
