Live Chess Cheating

Hello everyone,

I have now been a chess.com member for 3 years and I improved a lot since my start.

Nevertheless, I am sick of playing against people on live chess woho are using engines. How do I know they cheat ?

Well, I have never been above 1500 elo in blitz, I analyze all my games with Houdini 4 and some players make top 2 moves all the game long...

So here's is my request : I would like to "friend" some players between 1400-1500 in blitz (I play 5/2 or 10/0) and have a mutual agreement that we do not cheat. Fair enough :) ?

Are you talking of chess.com live server or me ?

Because concerning myself I can totally guarantee that.

Come on, think two second. What would be my interest to tell a guy "hi do you wanna play ?" and then use an engine to be sure to win. Why would I do that ? It's the exact opposite of my values and what I am looking for. I just want to meet honest people like me.

It is obvious that some people are using a chess engine when you play them . There is no way to stop it that I,m aware of ,And yes it does piss you off that there that afraid of losing they would cheat in a GAME that realy does not have any monetary gain ,Just bragging rights. But it is what it is nowadays, Only thing I can say is smoke a bud or take a drink and play to play

You don't even need to switch windows (ALT+TAB). Besides you could have a 24" screen like me where both windows would fit nicely.

No, there's actually cheaters that will use an iPad. Wait for your move while your time is running down then input the move to the iPad and return the move the iPad makes.

Yes, it is.  Why do people never understand this?  Engines can be attached to any user interface, written by anyone, for any purpose.  Do you really believe that the only way to feed engine moves into an online game is to open 2 windows and transfer the moves by hand?

I never use engines.  ever.  not even to go over my games.  count me in.  You have a diamond membership.  start a group where you pick who joins and who does not.  I would love to be your first member!  :)
