Looking For Group

I am looking for a group who actively play vote chess matches (one move per day) whose average player is stronger than my online chess rating.

I feel my rating can climb higher if I play more often, so do not think that I will drag the group down.

Hm. That's interesting. That's exactly what I want The Antiochis Tribe to become. I hope you'll stick around and help make it happen. We're only just starting but you'll notice that there are already two members rated higher than you so I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for with us.

But don't let that stop you from exploring other groups too.

I don't know if you are still looking for a group like this...but I'm a super-admin of a group that pretty much answers to the complete description. :) In the International 10 Minute Vote Chess Group we play games with no more than 1 day time controls. It's an active group (we encourage lots of discussion for each move), and although the average rating of the entire group is a little less than your rating, I would say the average rating of the active members is above it. For example, here's the list of members on the first vote chess game I went on just now (and this is one of our smaller turn outs for a game):

And as an extra bonus, everyone is always very friendly, which is part of the reason it's my favorite group. :)

I'm not a member right now, but you might like "The Killer Derivatives." I'm pretty sure they focus a lot on vote chess; plus, they have a rating limit.

Elizabeth, I prefer vote chess games with at least two days per move. Otherwise there is very little time for discussion, due to players living in different time zones.

Oh ok, in your initial post you had said one move per day, that's why I suggested ours. But anyway, that's good you found a good group. :)

I tried one move per day but it only really works with higher rated players (or so it seems to me). Thanks for the invite nontheless.
