What about players who can't buy a membership? I'm only 16, so I can't buy a membership, but I'm not rude and annoying (I blame rude players too)

And of course if you play correspondence chess ("online" in Erikspeak) you do have the option to restrict play to only premium members. I looked for a similar option in "live" but couldn't find one.
Thanks guys! Enjoy your comments. Believe me, "Xeelfier" I am not against the free members. My kids are all free members... and I have lots of free member friends. It was just a trend I have noticed. And,... "chess_gg" you are also correct... I have an adopted daughter from Russia her rating on here 2200.. she is phenomenol chess player and she experiences none of this... whether in long or short games. I have made many good friends via chess.com and look forward to many more. Thanks for comments.

Just a thought to throw out there to help make chess.com a better chess community. I am a top tier paying member, and to be honest I am tired of playing in live chess non paying members. Quite often they are rude, cursing, and generally no fun to play with. Instead of friendly rematches they only curse you and decline.
I have made many wonderful friends though this site and I really enjoy it . . . And please understand I am not stereo typing non paying members... I have lots of non paying member friends also... And they are a joy.... But... Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a members only section where the majority of players would be a little more ethical due to the fact they have invested in the community.
