Member points gathering

I became familiar with this forum with a google search in july last year, actually initiated by my student son! After have been more involved, it became my decidedly most timespending free time activity! For me, it has sort of opened doors into a quite new world! Having the opportunity to play (and chat) with all kind of players all over the world at any time, in all variants, from blitz to more slow tournaments incredibel stastistics, ranking system is just incredible! 960Chess has been tested out, not with striking success, though, has been an interesting experience! My most memorably success this far, has been two victory games over AWARDCHESS himself, the problaby most contributing player and admin in the whole Chess.com. In one of them, I just now play in  round 2 (final) in a tournament, just at the expence of him! And against a player ranked about 1000  points above me (Clouseau741), I am very pleased so long in the 2 final games!

In 2011 one of my ambitions is to contribute more also in the forums, encouraged by a annoying message, that I have not did this so long! That I have participated in vote chess matches for the team I so far have membership in, obviously do not count in this respect! Not either sent comments on topics appearing on the home page! With this little post, I pursue that this now have changed!

Hallo, Ivand, what have you did to gather such an amount of points?  You have been member here quite a long time! My last post gave me just one!

There is no reason to have said that other than to get more member points.

I'm obsessed with member points, my self worth is tied directly to having a large number.

why would that be the case?

For every member point that I have put effort in, I have earned myself 0.5 a chess-rating point. Gotta keep on posting...
