The iPhone is the only mobile phone I know of that will allow you to make moves in a game. It is still not possible to post comments because of a bug. There is a chess.com iPhone app that makes making moves easier.
The new iPhone costs MUCH less than £400.
In the United States, the iPhone costs $199 (or $299 if you go with the 32GB model, as opposed to the 16GB). I converted the dollar amount to be about £124.29, much less than one may think.
Many apologies - this subject must have been raised in different forms a few times by now.
I'm about to buy a new phone & my main driver for getting it is to access chess.com. I'll be buying it outright as I don't want to be on a contract. I'm expecting to use WiFi for internet connectivity.
My question is - does any phone stand out as being particularly good or bad for chess.com (either using the mobile application or using a traditional browser)? As far as cost is concerned I know I may have to spend a lot - between £400-£500 for an iPhone, Blackberry etc if they prove to be worth the extra.
Any advice or comments would be welcome.
