How do I get more. I am such a crap chess player

Which do you mean? Member points (displayed on each of your posts) are awarded for community activity: posts and comments.

Rating points are gained by winning, and lost by losing games. I notice you only play blitz in live chess. Try slowing down and taking it easy, play fifteen or twenty minute games. If you take the time to look for threats and hanging pieces, you'll play better. Do the tactics training here as well :)

Yeap, slow down and play a lesser number of games than you are playing now so that you can pay more attention to your play.

Thank you very much y'all!

keep practicing. Don't feel negative about losses but focus on ur improvements. Try out the training, it really gets you thinking. Play other ppl with low points, u migh tfind them easier to beat lol. (that's what I do when I have a bad streak)

Read through some of the comments people have when games are posted here in the forums and in blogs.  That will give you an idea of the types of things players are looking at and thinking about. It can seem extremely overwhelming at first, because people rattle off long lines and catch problems that you didn't see, and you'll say to yourself "I could never do that."  But just absorb what you're ready for, and don't worry about taking in all the info at once.  Bit by bit as you pick up points and understanding, you'll find you can follow more of the discussions in greater detail.  At the same time, your game will be improving.

you make your moves in a hurry. Take time to think. And most importantly, what your opponent is doing.

Thanks Sumair
