My Turn Alert?

I am playing a 3-Day game.  My first try.  I tried to set up some kind of notification.  I clicked email.  I also would like to get a text.

My first move took me 7 hours.  I'm reasonably attentive, but sleep and other activities make it seem this game will timeout.

Are these three day games a good experience?

I searched site and couldn't find an answer to this question.

Hi, just to clarify, 3 day game means you have 3 days for each move.

Otherwise it would be so nerve-wracking to try to finish everything in 3 days!

chess.com doesn't send text notifications.

You can get a notification banner displayed on your phone if you use the iPhone app. I assume the same would be possible with the Android app, I don't know. On the chess.com website, there is a "Mobile" checkbox for each notification.
