The new limitations on Opening Explorer seem very fair. Consistent with the sites theme of giving basic chess enjoyment for free, charging for interaction within the site and making these hyper-interactive features a premium.
I must admit I enjoyed the ability to research an opponents strengths and weaknesses quickly and enjoyably. It was like having a scout in the stands.
Along with the performance stats access and the gift gold membership, the extra $50 is starting to sound very reasonable.
Great job as always chess.com team, I think you may have finally gotten me.
