No rooks?

I just had a game where the board was set-up & the game started without rooks for me (playing black). Has anyone else experienced anything like this? My opponent graciously accepted my request for a draw after a few moves. Obviously, I wasn't going to win without either rook on the board from the beginning!

It doesn't look like any of your recent games have that in the archive so it was likely a cache problem. If you see missing pieces, a forced refresh (SHIFT-F5 on Windows) will likely fix it.

It looks like it was a browser issue. The same thing was happening when I did a post-game analysis and review. Shut down & reopened the browser & it looks good at the moment.

It happens to me all the time. I just give double rook odds and go with it. My motto is the less pieces I start with, the faster I can move.

Mine is similar... the less pieces I start with the less pieces I blunder

Yes, it happened with my opponent as well. Just now. He didn't had the rook in the beginning
