There is nothing disrespectful or respectful either way if one does or doesn't offer a re-match game after winning, i tend to not offer rematch games but never turn down any offers if made!

Ok you know what? I am afraid of losing points. And so what? What you gonna do bout it? Leak my IP address? Does it matter if I’m afraid of losing points? I am a coward, and there’s nothing you could do about it.

That's literally what I type anytime someone calls me a coward

*laughs* disagree!

People who agree are afraid of their deadlines, such as homework (for school) a meeting (for work) and eating and sleeping (for survival)

Regardless of my schedule, I want to play different opponents each time.

The exception is: once, my opponent blundered true queen early, resigned, and offered a rematch. I thought they didn’t get to play to their full potential, so I accepted. Not out of greed for Elo, or out of pity, but out of sympathy.

so you?

#48. No, I disagree. I days people who agree (which isn’t me) are afraid of mandatory non-chess activities.

*said, not days. Typo.

its completely valid to accept or decline a rematch regardless of circumstances. if you lost and they want to rematch, you can, or you can just move on. you don't need an abject reason to not want to play again with the same person, and you dont need to justify that fact. "i just dont want to rematch" is completely valid, but there are countless other reasons. you want to play different opponents? ok! you want to anaylze your game? sure! you're done for the day and dont want to play anymore? thats fine! judging ppl and calling them afraid just because they dont want to play you again is rather dull.
