Players Bad Reviews

Chess.com has always been dealing with those players that diconnect or let time run out when losing. Some time ago, admin had implemented the fair policy notice that pops up after one of the aforementioned issues has occurred. However, it still begs the question of whether or not this is helping curtail these problems or if there is actually any action taking place.

Perhaps we take matters into our own hands?

A proposed method is for players to leave a comment on the perpetrators page to let others know of this behavior. Then a new player can click on their name and view whether or not they are a reputable player before engaging.

Should we care about this issue? Should we be policing ourselves in this manner? Or should we just accept that this is part of online interaction that involves the potential for competitive loss?

I don't this we should care.  There are so many reasons why I think this is just unfair and would be counterproductive I don't feel like starting a list.  Most people are fine and I think the other extreme is the people like you complaining about the random people who have blah, blah, blah is equally annoying.

Edit; I hope my post didn't come accross as rude, no intention for that if it did.

Sure, and then the bad sports all give you horrible ratings when you beat them.

I don't particularly care if someone drops out of time. Also, the idea of someone being able to make negative comments on others' pages opens the way for a lot of trouble.

You are the hub for which all people send their posts and await review from the infinite wisdom of InoYamanaka.  Aren't ya?
