Playing online games

I joined chess.com month ago, first I played a lot 'live chess' mainly bullet. Then because of my poor connection I decided to give it a try and play online 'snail-mail' games and it's fun because I have time to analyse position. I noticed couple strange things:

1.Many people seem not to bother to use 'analyze' tool even when they have decent rating (1700 -1800) sometimes they make terrible blunders the kind you would expect in bullet.

2.Not resigning when they should or resigning too fast. I mean some ppl are queen and more material down and they keep on playing ( I don't mind but if I'd find myself in such position I'd resign out of respect to my opponent and not to waste his and my time) but more strange to me is that some people lose a pawn and they resign Surprised.

Yeah like I said I don't have problem with people who continue to play even in completely hopeless situation - it's their right to do so. More strange for me is when players resign when they are pawn (or light piece for a rook) down and there's still much to play. The other thing is that I find it strange that so many people don't use analysis board (maybe they find it unethical - I dunno I use it cuz I can see what's going to happenmore clearly).

Interesting position btw. I don't play Slav myself but after looking  at it maybe I'm gonna try. I don't think that black have enough compensation though because after 17.Qf6, Be6 18.Rb1 I don't see how they can continue attack, but that's offtopic :)

I guess a lot of people try to limit the use of the analysis board because they want to improve their visualization skill.

I don't know if that is what is really happening, but that was my thought when my opponent didn't resign down Q, R, 2B, N, and 2P.

LOL.
