Please publicly explain why the Elite Trophies (points) are now drastically different.

We (the chess.com community) need an explanation please, as to why the scoring is drastically different.

Here is a screen shot of last week's final Elite Standings (1-15)

Now, here is a screen shot of the current (not quite finished Elite standings).

We need to know what happened.  There is no way these players this week could ever achieve those Trophy points.  Has the rule of fair play changed?  Thank-you

Previously simuls were something people were able to use to gain league trophies and not it's no longer possible. But there are still a couple of days left, so there may be some that get close to 10,000 still, unless they are really far ahead of their competition.

Sir, that could only mean one thing.  Some Players (who were playing literally every waking hour) could never have won their respective Divisions playing by the rules.  Correct?  Did everyone have the ability to play simuls?

Trust me...I regret to even ask.

Thank-you.

The previous week was the first group that had a chance at champions league. In addition to the rule change regarding simuls, these people are by definition better suited to rack up a big trophy count. Each division had tougher competition, and trophies beget trophies. Once champion starts, I imagine we will see a 20k count needed to be the first to advance to legends. Surely no less than 15k

Simuls are a premium only feature.
