How about the fact that I bothered to get out of bed today?
PoB 10/20 Blunder of the Week

yeah, it was the truly ordinary Kb1, tucking the king after qside castling. he had other options, but it's a 75 minute time control and he basically spent 2/3 of his time on move 10. it's a position where whether you play Kb1 or g4 or h4 or... you know either one is ok, you just want to play it pretty quickly usually. here's the game:

Jorge won his game this week to win a match for his team.
It's almost certainly the girl, assuming she doesn't already have a boyfriend or something, but if for whatever reason (I don't know the particulars) she can be excused, it has to be Hasbun... ouch.

we seem to be divided about 33-33-33 % in voting this week. no clear blunder winner. tomorrow we have special guests.

What a way of count is this? I think everybody has voted Sammour Hasbun.
Except me, I voted San Francisco Mechanics
Finally, for Blunder of the Week, we had three candidates:
- a girl turning Sam down for a dinner date (blunder of her lifetime, not just the week)
- the play of the entire SF Mechanics team in losing to Seattle.
- Sammour Hasbun spending 46+ minutes on one simple move in the opening against Carlito Agner in USCL play. later he missed half a dozen wins and draws blundering in acute time pressure, and his opponent scored a 300+ point upset to lead Carolina to a draw against Boston.
What do you vote?
